Réka Pigniczky documentary filmmaker / visual journalist

This short, 5 minute video is about the 3rd Hungarian Film Festival of San Francisco, including interviews with special guests: Sándor Csányi, Dénes Orosz, Márk Bodzsár, TIbor Kocsis, Judit Stalter, András B. Vágvölgyi and festival team: Steve Kovács, Éva Homor and Réka Pigniczky.

The festival took place from November 14 – 22 and included two short university courses at San Francisco State University titled ‘Film and the Fall of the Fall of the Iron Curtain’ and ‘Contemporary Hungarian Cinema.’ The program included feature films, documentaries, short films and animation. Organized by the California European Cultural Initiative (CECI) and funded by the Hungary Initiative Foundation and San Francisco State University.
